History
The Company was established in 1959. Enterprise produced metal and electrical constructions, including distribution equipment of medium and low voltage.
In 1964 the Company was called Šiaulių eksperimentinė elektros konstrukcijų gamykla (Šiauliai factory of experimental electrical constructions). Medium and low voltage distribution equipment, metal constructions, transformer substations, cables and etc. was produced there.
In 1979 the branch in Ukmergė was founded. It produces metal constructions and carries out other steel works.
In 1993 the Company has been privatized and ELGA AB established.
In 1999 the quality management system has been certified in accordance to ISO 9001.
In 2004 ELGA AB has been reorganized to ELGA UAB.
